Permanent Eyeliner
Eyeliner that never smudges.
Sick of drawing on your eyeliner every morning — only to have it smudge, fade, or disappear by noon? Permanent eyeliner puts it there for good. From a soft lash enhancement to a defined line with a little wing, you wake up every day with your eyes already done.

Who permanent eyeliner is for
- Anyone tired of the daily eyeliner routine
- People with makeup allergies who can’t wear traditional liner
- Sparse or gappy lash lines that need definition
- Active lifestyles — swimming, workouts, humid days — where makeup won’t stay
- Anyone who’s lost lashes or hair due to medical reasons and wants their eyes back
What is permanent eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner is a machine-applied technique that places pigment along the lash line. A small amount of darker pigment is worked between the individual lashes, which makes lashes look fuller — that’s lash enhancement, the most natural option. For a bolder look, pigment goes just above the lash line for a defined liner, with the option of a small wing.
Styles: lash enhancement (soft), classic liner (everyday definition), designer liner (bolder, with wing).
Why clients love permanent eyeliner
- Wake up with your makeup already done
- Waterproof — swimming, sweating, tears, all of it
- Defines the eyes and adds a youthful, bold look
- Great for makeup allergies and sensitive eyes
- Fills in sparse lash gaps for a fuller lash look
The process
- Consultation & design — We talk through the look and I draw the design on first. Nothing starts until you love it.
- Numbing & the procedure — Numbing cream before and during. Built up carefully along the lash line. About two hours door to door.
- Healing & the touch-up — Eyes can be puffy for a day or two. Color looks bolder at first, softens as it heals. A second visit perfects the line.
Healing & aftercare
Healing is gentle and easy. Here’s the honest timeline:
- Right after: your liner looks darker and more intense than it will heal, and a little puffiness is completely normal — it settles within a day or two.
- First few days: the area may feel a little dry and tender, with some light flaking. Let it flake on its own — no picking or scratching.
- First week: keep the lash line as dry as you can — go easy on water contact, and skip swimming, hot tubs and heavy sweating. Hold off on eye makeup while it heals.
- Around days 5 to 10: the color lightens and may look like it’s fading — this is normal. It slowly comes back and settles over the next few weeks.
- By about a month, healing is complete and you’ll see the final, softened result. Your touch-up is scheduled 4 to 6 weeks after your first session to perfect everything.
How long does permanent eyeliner last?
Within one to two years the liner gradually fades. Most clients schedule a touch-up about every two years. It never washes off in between.
Frequently asked questions
Does permanent eyeliner hurt?
Numbing cream before and during. Most clients find it very manageable.
Can I keep my lash extensions or lash serum?
No — lash extensions need to come off before your appointment. And if you use a lash growth serum, stop using it one week before your procedure.
How long does the appointment take?
Plan on approximately 2 to 3 hours, including your consultation, design, numbing and the procedure itself. A simple lash-line enhancement is at the shorter end; a thicker line or a little wing takes us closer to three, depending on the design you choose.
Does the price include top and bottom?
Yes — if you’d like a bottom line, it’s complimentary with your top liner. Most people today keep the bottom very subtle or skip it altogether; if you do want one, I suggest just a very thin line, or a little at the outer corner. The price is the same either way — the bottom line is my treat.
Will it look natural?
Lash enhancement just makes your lash line look fuller. Classic and designer are more defined — your choice.
What’s the difference between permanent makeup and a tattoo?
Pigment doesn’t go as deep as a body tattoo — only top skin layers. That’s why it softens over time.
Can I still wear regular makeup?
Yes — add eyeshadow or mascara on top whenever you want more drama.
Do I really need the touch-up?
The second visit perfects the line and evens out healing. It’s part of the process.
